Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann an grúpa is mó a bhfuil baint acu le caomhnú agus cur chun cinn cheol traidisiúnta na hÉireann. Is gluaiseacht cultúrtha neamhbhrabúis sinn leis na céadta craobh áitiúil ar fud na hÉireann agus ar fud an domhain.
Is eagraíocht phobail agus dheonach é Comhaltas, agus tá deiseanna á gcur ar fáil aige do dhaoine de gach aois agus cúlra, ach go háirithe daoine óga, sult a bhaint as agus páirt a ghlacadh i dtraidisiúin na hÉireann ó 1951 i leith.

What a great start to #CCÉCongress24 welcome reception at @claytonhotelsligo #Sligo with presentations for the local branch and officials of the organising committee topped off with a beautiful concert featuring Gary Hastings, Fr Seamus Quinn, Fr James McDonagh and Fionnuala Kerins celebrating the #SharedIsland theme.

Ciarán who is a multi All Ireland Champion musician, the composer and conductor of MISNEACH, member of the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra of Ireland and Scoil Éigse tutor was chosen as lead Irish delegate for the Ship for World Youth Programme which is sponsored by the Japanese Government and supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Ardchomhairle of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann has announced that Wexford has been selected as the venue for the Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025. The announcement to award Wexford the Fleadh for the second year in succession was made following a meeting of CCÉ’s Ardchomhairle at Cultúrlann na hÉireann, Monkstown over the weekend.
